Melissa Savage
Melissa joined the Khalsa Montessori School in August of 2008. Melissa has many years of teaching experience starting in 1993. Some of the schools she worked at are Macomb Children’s Academy, Oakland Children’s Academy, Hazel Park and Berkley School District, Sweet Blessings Day Care, Bear Cubs Day Care Center, Hazel Park Recreational Center, and Hazel Park High School Child Care Center. She has had many roles at each of these schools from after school program, teacher’s assistant, lead and substitute teachers.
Melissa has just recently moved from Michigan, and is enjoying the climate change! Melissa has a degree in Elementary Education with minors in English and Natural History from Saginaw Valley State University. Melissa also has her Montessori Teaching Certificate from Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute.
