Director of Primary & Toddler Schools
Donna Waters
Donna began at Khalsa School in September 2001 as the Assistant Director for the primary campus and both toddler houses.
Donna has a BS degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Texas Women’s University and an Associate degree in Child Development from McLennan Community College, Waco, Texas. Donna also has a Masters in education and school administration.
Her background includes several years of teaching children from the age of toddlers to kindergarten. She spent three years teaching at the Montessori School of Flagstaff, two years with Campus Children’s Center in Tempe, as well as First Baptist School in Pomona California, Mi Casa Preschool, and Cornerstone in Flagstaff.
Donna has completed several hours of Montessori teacher training, with only her math and internship hours remaining; she is unsure when she will finalize her certification.
In addition to working at Khalsa, Donna loves to read and enjoys walking in organized events. Look for her, and several co-workers, in the upcoming Breast Cancer Three Day Event.
