Pamela Argust
Pamela Argust, a seasoned veteran of Khalsa School, returns to Khalsa after 8 years in New York.
She started in 1984 as an assistant to Pam Hogan in the Montessori infant program, then worked as an outdoor environment teacher. In 1985 she began working with Susan Ritchey as a Primary South assistant where she stayed for 12 years. Pamela then was called to go back to New York to attend to her family’s needs while raising her daughter. While in New York, Pamela headed a Montessori classroom and worked with parent education at YWCA Montessori Day School for 7 years.
Pamela’s daughter is an alumnus of Khalsa School who graduated from New York University with honors. Pamela has a B.A. degree with honors in Woman’s Studies and the Arts from Brooklyn College. Pamela’s 20-years of experience working with children, parents, and staff is a legacy to her commitment to the Montessori Method of education.
