Garden Coordinator
Raquel Enrique
Raquel joined Khalsa Montessori School in the fall of 2006, as the garden coordinator. She will work in the gardens with small groups of children from each of the classrooms. To watch their progress, see Raquel’s monthly newsletter articles.
Raquel is currently attending Phoenix College, studying Biology for Secondary Education; she hopes to transfer to Arizona State University soon. Raquel has worked at other alternative schools, including four years in a Mesa school with children grades fifth through eighth; additionally, she worked in California with ninth through twelve graders.
Raquel has two daughters, both attend Khalsa Montessori School.
